Who builds Lake Tree Avenue
Lake Tree Avenue is built by TAM Developers, a partnership of three people: Kinjal Mehta, Shalin Talati and Dhruv Talati. Kinjal Mehta has worked on building projects in Vadodara since 1995. This page sets out that work, project by project, so you can check it for yourself.
Kinjal Mehta
Kinjal Mehta is a civil engineer. He studied at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, here in Vadodara, and specialised in structural design: how a building carries its own weight, from the foundation up through the columns and slabs.
That is a useful habit for a developer to have. Most of what decides whether a house lasts is hidden once the plaster is on. He was trained to think about that part first.
He started work in 1995. For the first two years he worked on site, across whatever the job needed: civil construction, interior work and infrastructure. It is the part of the trade nobody photographs, and it is where most of it is learned.

1997 to 2005: large projects, and other people's
In 1997 he joined the team building Vrundavan Township at Harni, Vadodara. It was a large mixed project of homes and commercial units, about 7 lakh square feet in all, and it was completed in three years.
After that he worked with several Vadodara developers and was part of the teams that built Spring View, Shilalekh and Solitude. Working inside other firms' projects is a good way to see many ways of doing the same job, and to decide which ones you would keep.
2005: Procube and the GSRTC terminal
In 2005 he became a partner in Cube Construction to build Procube, a commercial project on Nizampura Main Road. It came with an unusual brief. Procube was built together with a bus terminal for the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, under a government tender, so the commercial hub and the public terminal had to be planned and built as one.
Public works are inspected against the tender, line by line, and have to be handed over on the agreed timeline. The terminal was delivered on schedule.
2008: Cascade, Gotri Road
Cascade tried one idea on every floor: each apartment was a two-storey home, laid out like a penthouse, with its own internal stair. Not one special unit at the top, but every unit in the building.
Looking back, it is easy to see the thread. A home on two floors, with its own stair, is the same thinking that later became the Lake Tree townhouses.
2009 onwards: RED Organisers
In 2009 he became a Director of RED Organisers Private Limited. The projects completed under RED cover most kinds of building a city needs:
- Baroda Skyz, Gorwa. Five residential towers with 180 apartments of 2 and 3 BHK.
- Baroda Greens, Harni. 4 BHK residential villas.
- Sherwoods, New Alkapuri, Sevasi. 33 independent villas.
- Baroda City Mall, Manjalpur. Four centrally air-conditioned floors of shops and showrooms, a four-screen multiplex and a 20,000 sq ft banquet hall.
Two public housing projects
Baroda City Mall was built under a government tender for the rehabilitation of the Bajaniawas slum. As part of the same work, 150 VUDA homes were built for the families who lived there and handed over to the Vadodara Municipal Corporation.
A second tender followed for the Jamwadi slum in Sayajigunj. Again, 150 VUDA homes were built and handed over to the VMC.
We mention these for a plain reason. Homes built for a public authority are checked by that authority before it accepts them. Three hundred of them passed that check.
2014: Baroda Commerce House
In 2014 he partnered with PM Associates to build Baroda Commerce House on Gotri Vasna Main Road: about 70,000 square feet of offices, showrooms and shops.
2020: Lake Tree
In 2020 he launched Lake Tree on Ajwa Main Road: 70 townhouses of 2 and 3 BHK, under the name New Age Townhouses. The idea was simple: give a family a real house, with its own front door and its own stair, rather than one more flat in a tower.
Lake Tree was completed in 2024, and all 70 homes are sold. Families have been living there since.

We would rather you hear about it from them than from us. Ask us for the address, drive over, and talk to the people who live there. Look at how the houses have held up after two monsoons.
With no homes left at Lake Tree, families kept asking us for one like it. That is why Lake Tree Avenue exists.
TAM Developers
TAM Developers is a partnership firm with three partners: Kinjal Mehta, and two brothers, Shalin Talati and Dhruv Talati. Shalin and Dhruv are the younger side of the partnership, and they came together with one aim: to build more homes on the Lake Tree idea, and build them as carefully as the first.
Lake Tree Avenue is the result: 48 two-bedroom townhouses on Waghodia Main Road, Kamlapura, Vadodara, launched after Lake Tree sold out and buyers were still asking for homes like it.
Come and stand in it.
A floor plan is a drawing. A picture is a picture. Neither tells you how the living room feels at four in the afternoon.
Tell us when you can come. We will keep the house open, keep an hour free, and walk the avenue with you. Site visits happen every day.
