Lake Tree Avenue is about 5.5 km by road from Waghodia GIDC, a drive of about 12 min, and on the east side of Vadodara, so Halol (about 40 km) and Savli GIDC at Manjusar (about 31.2 km) are reached without crossing the city. It has 48 two-storey 2 BHK townhouses inside one gated campus.
Plant and estate jobs come with shifts, and shifts make the drive home matter more than almost anything else about a house. Here are the distances we measured, the roads Google Maps takes, and a plain view of which drives are short and which are not.

Distances, times and roads were read off Google Maps from the site gate in October 2026, at one time of day. Shift-change traffic is not in these figures. More towns are on buying from another city.
Which drives are short, and which are long?
Waghodia GIDC is next door. About 12 min each way. For a shift worker this is close to walking distance by car, and you are home before the city traffic starts.
Savli GIDC at Manjusar is under an hour. About 48 min each way on GJ SH 158. Many people in Vadodara drive that every day.
Halol is about an hour. About 1 hr 5 min each way on GJ SH 175. That is a long daily drive, and we will say so. It makes sense if someone else in your family works or studies on Waghodia Road, if your company runs transport from Vadodara, or if you want to live in Vadodara rather than next to the estate.
Kalol (Panchmahal) is further, about 1 hr 21 min, and for most people that is a weekend trip, not a daily commute.

What is in these estates?
Waghodia GIDC is a notified industrial area of about 338 hectares, notified in 1998. GIDC now lists it as a saturated estate, where new plots are allotted only by public auction: it is established and full, not still filling up.
Halol has GIDC's Halol and Halol Expansion estates. GIDC's own presentation of the expansion estate lists units of Hero MotoCorp, Gamesa, Toto India, HNG Float Glass, Siemens, SEW Eurodrive, Panasonic Energy, Crompton Greaves, L&T, Suzlon and ABB. JSW MG Motor India makes cars at Halol, in the plant that was General Motors'; the company says it supports about 6,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Savli GIDC, at Manjusar, is home to Alstom's rail-car factory, set up by Bombardier in 2009, which builds metro and commuter coaches for India and for export.
Company names are as the sources below give them; we have not checked which units are running today.
Who does a house here suit?
Waghodia GIDC staff who want a house, not a room near the estate, and a short drive at shift change.
Families with two workplaces, one at an estate and one at Parul University, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth or Dhiraj Hospital, which are a few minutes away. See near Parul, Sumandeep and Dhiraj.
Halol and Savli staff whose children are in Vadodara schools, or who want the city within reach on weekends, and who accept the longer drive.
Night-shift workers, for whom a gated campus with 24-hour security means the family is not alone behind an unguarded door.
What is the house?
48 two-storey townhouses, each on its own plot of 703 to 1,050 sq ft, with two bedrooms upstairs (each with its own bathroom), a third bathroom downstairs, your own terrace, and parking for a car or a two-wheeler right in front of your door.
