Schools and hospitals near Waghodia Main Road
From Lake Tree Avenue on Waghodia Main Road, the nearest hospitals are Parul Sevashram Hospital on the Parul University campus (about 2.7 km) and Dhiraj Hospital (about 3.9 km), both large teaching hospitals. The nearest CBSE school we can confirm is Avalon World School, about 4.5 km away.
Families ask two things about a new road before anything else: where will the children study, and where do we go at two in the morning. This page answers both, using only places we could confirm and distances we measured.

Which hospitals are closest?
| Hospital | What it is | From our gate |
|---|---|---|
| Parul Sevashram Hospital (on the Parul University campus) | NABH-accredited teaching hospital, founded 2012; 750+ beds by its own figure | about 2.7 km, 6 min to the campus |
| Dhiraj Hospital | Teaching hospital of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, established 2002; 1,500+ beds by its own figure | about 3.9 km, 8 min |
| SSG Hospital | Sir Sayajirao General Hospital, the government teaching hospital of Medical College Baroda | about 17.8 km, 48 min |
Few residential roads in Vadodara have two large teaching hospitals within five kilometres. For a family with elderly parents, or for anyone who works night shifts at one of them, that is the strongest argument for this road.
Bed counts are the hospitals' own published figures and differ between their pages; ask the hospital for the departments you need. Drive times are Google Maps estimates from our gate, October 2026, not ambulance times.
Which schools are nearby?
We list only schools whose affiliation we could confirm on the CBSE register, and the one we measured:
- Avalon World School, Waghodia. CBSE affiliation 430360, opposite Sumandeep Vidyapeeth on Waghodia Road; about 4.5 km, 9 min from our gate.
- Amicus International School, Khatamba. CBSE affiliation 430446, on Waghodia Road towards the city.
- Gujarat Public International School, Pipaliya. CBSE affiliation 430421, in Waghodia taluka.
There are also Gujarati-medium and state-board schools in Waghodia town and the villages around it. We have not listed them because we have not checked each one; ask in Waghodia, or search the board's own register.
Before you buy, ask each school three things: does it have a seat in your child's class for the year you move, does its bus come to Kamlapura, and what time does the bus leave in the morning.
Which universities and colleges are on this road?
| Institution | What it is | From our gate |
|---|---|---|
| Parul University | Private university at Limda: engineering, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, management, arts and more; 70,500+ students by its own figure | about 2.7 km, 6 min |
| Sumandeep Vidyapeeth | Deemed university at Piparia: medical, dental, nursing and allied health colleges | about 3.9 km, 8 min |
| MS University | The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, in the city | about 19 km, 49 min |
For a family with a child about to enter college, living between two universities means the choice of course does not have to decide where the family lives. See near Parul, Sumandeep and Dhiraj for more on the campuses.
What should you check yourself?
- Drive from the house to the school at the time the school day starts, once, before you book.
- Ask the school whether its bus route covers Kamlapura, and the fee.
- For a family member with a long-term condition, ask the nearest hospital whether it has that department and an emergency unit open at night.
- Save the hospitals' emergency numbers and the route before you move in.
